The System Is Broken. Your Data Doesn’t Have to Be.

Welcome to the Datagotchi Sanctuary.

If you scanned the QR code from our physical zine or stumbled here after surviving another day of corporate software absurdities, welcome. You’re not crazy, and you’re not alone.

Modern platforms are engineered to extract your attention, monetize your metabolic energy, and lock your workflow behind proprietary walls. Whether you’re a Zoomer navigating institutional compliance, a senior dev suffering from severe platform burnout, or a local business owner tired of fighting buggy SaaS tools—this space is built on a different set of rules: Local-First, Zero-Entropy, and Sovereign.

1. Digital Sovereignty & The Zine Archive

Our zines are physical manifestos for epistemic defense—channeling subcortical stress and “brain rot” into structured, visual systems mapping.

Pass It On: Print it out, leave it in the break room, or drop it into your local chat. The physical paper is 100% offline and untracked.

2. Visual Systems Mapping Research: Inspect & JAWs

We are actively designing and building Inspect—an open-source, local-first canvas tool for joint activity workflows (JAWs), causal abstraction hierarchies, and visual sensemaking. No cloud servers. No monthly tracking fees. Your data lives on your device.

Below is the design lineage and architectural specifications driving our current implementation:

Iteration 1: Visual Specification: Causal Evidence & Citation Mosaic

Figure 1: Early conceptual specification for Inspect mapping horizontal causal events, vertical abstraction hierarchy levels, and clustered evidence receipts to eliminate passive-aggressive corporate obfuscation.

Iteration 2: Collaborative Copilot Design: Causal Abstraction Hierarchy Canvas

Figure 2: Early design mock for Collaborative Copilot (showing the Structural AI Readiness Assessment framework), bridging top-down corporate directives with ground-truth operational nodes.

Iteration 3: Collaborative Copilot Design: JAWs Supervisory Override Gate

Figure 3: Refined interface mock establishing human-in-the-loop decision boundaries, confidence scoring, and override gates—currently being implemented in Inspect pull request #30.

3. Take Control: For Developers & Operators

  • Run It Locally: Inspect is built to run entirely on your local machine. No AWS dependencies, no vendor lock-in.
  • Read the Research: We regularly publish long-form breakdowns on FOSS sovereignty, generational UX shifts, and causal modeling.

4. Local Rockford Organizational & Process Consulting

Are you a local business owner or manager overwhelmed by operational chaos, high staff turnover, or messy daily workflows? We help local teams eliminate process debt and streamline daily operations through quiet, practical system fixes:

  • Workflow & Bottleneck Audits: Mapping your shift handoffs, order fulfillment, and daily inventory routines to pinpoint exactly where time, energy, and money are being wasted.
  • Digital Menu & Ordering System Streamlining: Cleaning up, updating, and unifying your online menu, web presence, and order-flow channels so customers and staff experience zero friction.
  • Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Simplification: Replacing bloated manuals with crisp, visual, easy-to-follow task guides that help new hires get up to speed fast.

No lengthy corporate fluff or endless strategic meetings. Just direct, hands-on process fixes that restore operational order and let you focus on growing your business.
